Alden is a 23 year old Republican running to represent Helena in the State Legislature. He views his age as a valuable asset which will allow him to look at issues with a fresh perspective. Alden moved to Montana in 2017 and has embraced our Montana values from day 1. While studying at the University of Montana, Alden began working on the 2018 campaigns for the GOP which sparked his love for politics. When he wasn't busy with schoolwork, you could find Alden at Griz football games, spending time with friends, or standing knee deep in one of our many amazing Montana trout rivers. After the 2020 election Alden began working in Helena for Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen. His time in Helena during the 67th legislative session has given him a firsthand understanding of what it will take to be an effective representative for the people of Helena. As a state representative, Alden will fight for important issues like:

  • Lowering Property Taxes

  • Reducing the Crime and Drug epidemic

  • Fighting against Federal Overreach

  • Ensuring quality education for Helena students

  • Protecting our Second Amendment rights

  • Reducing the costs of prescription drugs

Alden is extremely excited about the prospect of serving House District 82 in the 68th legislative session and fighting for the issues that are important to Montanans.
